It was reported that Hillary Clinton believes that Russian president supports Trump and wants him to win. Hillary also accused him of other crimes.
When Western nations want to oust a problematic leader they first demonise them. They did it with Saddam and that worked like a charm. Then they did the same with Gaddafi and that also worked. However when they tried the same with Syrian President Assad Russia stepped in.
So the West has turned its attention to President Putin and the level of hypocrisy and double-talk now coming from Western politicians almost defies belief.
Leading Tory MP Andrew Mitchell has compared Russia’s actions in Syria to that of Germany and Italy ahead of World War II.
While Britain’s Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, who has just spoken in the British Parliament, called for an investigation into possible “war crimes” being committed in Aleppo.
However, the giveaway came when Johnson went on to praise the work of the “White Helmets” in Syria. Ostensibly a humanitarian organisation and partly funded by the British government, the White Helmets have been linked to Western covert operations in Syria and terror groups like al Nusra.
Johnson’s speech echoed earlier praise for the White Helmets by MP Alison McGovern, who had paid tribute to them in an emotional speech on Tuesday. In doing so she noted that she was serving as co-chair of the Friends of Syria group, a post formerly held by her friend Jo Cox, another highly suspect do gooder.
This sudden outpouring of moral indignation over Russia’s action in Syria follows a similar display in France the day before. When French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault had also called for an investigation into possible Russian “war crimes” in Aleppo.
As an old mentor once remarked however, there is no such thing as coincidence. So it may be no accident that these allegations of “Russian war crimes” follow similar accusations from Hillary Clinton during the presidential debate on Sunday.
This concerted effort to demonise President Putin suggests that if Hillary Clinton wins the U.S. presidential election there will be a combined Western effort to confront Russia. Meaning that war with Russia could well be top of her agenda.
Clinton’s war on Putin: Why did she launch astonishing attack over Russian ‘war crimes’ and claim Kremlin was behind leaks to get Trump elected?
Hillary Clinton launched an open attack on Russia in the presidential debate on Sunday, saying Vladimir Putin wants Trump to win and accusing the regime of ‘war crimes’ in Syria.
Clinton went on the offensive during the combative head-to-head showdown, apparently riled after she fell victim to leaks which she attributed to Russian hackers.
In some of her strongest words yet aimed at Russian President Putin, Clinton rebuked the country for its bombing of Aleppo, home to some 250,000 people.
‘There is a determined effort by the Russian air force to destroy Aleppo in order to eliminate the last of the Syrian rebels who are really holding out against the Assad regime,’ she told the crowd.
‘Russia hasn’t paid any attention to ISIS. They’re interested in keeping Assad in power,’ she went on.
‘I do support the effort to investigate for crimes – war crimes – committed by the Syrians and the Russians, and try to hold them accountable,’ she told the crowd.
