Courtney Love is trying to stop the screening of the new film “Soaked In Bleach” which portrays her in negative light. In this movie, the death of Kurt Cobain is seen from the private detective’s point of view and is reveals that she might be implicated in his death.
Many theatres have cancelled screenings of the film because Courtney Love’s attorneys were involved. She had put out a Cease and Desist order on screening of this movie.
Circle Cinema in Oklahoma is one of the theaters which did not receive such order, therefore they continue to screen the movie. People in charge at the theaters are not even allowed to discuss anything in relation to this topic.
What is fascinating is that the more someone tries to censor something, in the end it becomes more interesting and intriguing and people will be more eager to see it. The movie is actually available to anyone on Vimeo on demand. Thus, the movie can not be stopped from revealing anything that the movie director intended it to reveal.
The detective Tom Grant confirmed that Courtney’s lawyers were successful in their mission to cease any screening of this movie. As it turns out, their threat worked on just one theatre. Others dismissed the threat.
According to the online reports, “Soaked in Bleach” was a success.
