Diabetes is a common disease when your pancreas does not function properly which results in poor insulin production.
The pancreas doesn’t produce any insulin, or not enough insulin, to help glucose enter your body’s cells – or the insulin that is produced does not work properly. This condition is also known as insulin resistance. Even though this disease is incurable, there are many different homemade remedies to control it and maintain it in the normal level.
Worldwide, it afflicts more than 380 million people. And the World Health Organization estimates that by 2030, that number of people living with diabetes will be more than double. Today, diabetes takes more lives than AIDS and breast cancer combined — claiming the life of 1 American every 3 minutes. It is a leading cause of blindness, kidney failure, amputations, heart failure and stroke.
If you suffer from diabetes, it’s very important for you to keep your blood sugar levels at normal range, in order to function properly. You need to maintain a healthy diet, and use different prescription or natural medications to relieve the unpleasant symptoms. To make this homemade natural remedy for diabetes, you’ll need just 2 ingredients.
- 300 grams of celery root
- 6 lemons
First, you need to grate the washed celery root and put it in an enamel pot. The enamel pot should not be damaged. Then, you need to add the squeezed lemon juice. Close the pot, and put it in bigger pot, which you filled with water previously. Put it on medium heat and wait until the water in the bigger pot starts to boil. When the water starts to boil, you need to reduce the heat and simmer on low heat for 2 hours. When it’s done cooking, remove the pots from heat and don’t open the smaller pot with the mixture in it until it’s completely cool. When the mixture is cooled, put it in a glass jar, close the jar tightly and put it in the refrigerator.
You should drink 1 tbs. from this homemade drink, every morning on empty stomach, 30 minutes before breakfast. The mixture you made should be enough for 2 month. After the 2 moths, your blood sugar levels should be normalized.
