These signs point to heart attack 


The heart attack is something that can happen to anyone. When it happens, medical attention must be given within an hour or the consequences could be lethal.

Heart attack happens when the flow of blood into the heart is stopped due to narrowing of the coronary arteries.

First signs of heart attack can be identified in advance and they should not be ignored. Even the slightest feeling of discomfort in the chest area should not be ignored. It happens that the pain goes away, but that doesn’t mean that the risk is gone.

Some people experience a heart attack and never recognize that it did happen.

The following symptoms indicate a looming heart attack.

Chest pain – Prior to heart attack, people experience uneasiness in the chest area. The strength of it can vary and it usually passes after a few minutes. People describe it as a feeling of uncomfortable pressure, chest tightness or pain.

Pain in other parts of the body – A person can experience pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach.

Lack of breath – Inability to breathe is a typical characteristic of an upcoming heart attack.

Other sighs – A person can become covered in cold sweat and feel nausea or dizziness.

Risk factors which increase the possibility of a heart attack include smoking, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, overweight and obesity, physical inactivity, diabetes.

People who have already experienced heart problems are in danger of a heart attack.

Men olden than 45 and women older than 55 are at risk of a heart attack.

Also, if this disease runs in the family, the chances of having heart problems are higher.
