The Japanese believe that each finger is associated with different organs, emotions and attitudes. Wrap the opposite hand around one finger and deeply inhale and exhale. While doing this, visualize how the energy is going out of fingers into the earth. As you do this exercise, the energy will pass through your fingers and associate with specific emotions and organs. It is recommended to repeat the exercise on every finger in order to complete a full body stability and synchronization.

Thumb – is connected to the stomach and spleen. It correlates with the emotions of nervousness, depression, stress, emotional pain, sorrow, and worry. Physical symptoms include stomach problems, skin conditions, headaches and nervousness.
Index Finger – is connected to the kidneys and bladder. It correlates with the emotions of frustration, fear, terror, and mental confusion. Physical symptoms include upper arm discomfort, elbow, wrist, muscle and back aches, toothaches and gum issues, addictions of any kind and digestive problems.
Middle Finger – is connected to the liver and gallbladder. It correlates with the emotions of indecisiveness, anger, irritability, rage, resentment, relationships. Physical symptoms include problems with circulation, menstrual cramps, problems with eyesight, fatigue, migraine and frontal headaches.
