Fungal infections can be very unpleasant and difficult to deal with. However, persistent fungal infections can be solved with baking soda and apple cider vinegar.
A white or yellow spot at the top of the nail is usually the first stage of nail infection that is fungus.
With time they can change shape and color, and the nail can become very annoying and painful.
Without treatment, the fungus usually can’t be cured, and what you probably did not know is that baking soda is one of the effective medicines for fungus.
A mixture of soda and vinegar is good precisely because soda is not a fungicide, which means it will not kill the fungus, but will prevent their expansion and growth, while the vinegar is used to kill the fungus.
You will need:
- 4-5 tablespoons of baking soda
- 1 cup of white or apple cider vinegar
- container for soaking feet
- paper towel
Mix one cup of vinegar in the water that is the container for soaking your feet. Soak for about 15 minutes, then dry your feet with paper towels. Repeat this again, but this time, add 4-5 tablespoons of baking soda.
Repeat several times a day, two times without and with baking soda. The idea of this procedure is that the vinegar will first destroy the fungi, and the baking soda will prevent their further growth and expansion.
