Effective homemade remedy for painful joints


If you are experiencing problems with your joints, knees, elbows and shoulders, you should try one very effective homemade remedy.

This remedy is known to show results even after the first application. There are many causes of painful joints. It could be due to age, because joints aren’t as flexible as before. Other reasons include trauma, overload, fractures, arthritis and rheumatism.

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of hot mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda

Add one tablespoon of each ingredient in a mixing bowl. Mix it together into a homogeneous mixture. Once you are finished, pour the mixture into a jar or an ice-cream box.

Apply this remedy on the painful area. When you gently rub it into the painful area, put a compress on it, or wrap it with a piece of fabric. Leave the remedy on for the next 1.5 – 2 hours. As you have to remain steady for a long period of time, use this remedy before going to sleep. You don’t have to restrict the use on only 1.5 – 2 hours. Leave it as long as you want.

Mustard is useful for other purposes as well. If you get burned, mustard will help relieve the burning sensation and the pain will disappear. If you experience headache, apply mustard on your temples or forehead. In case of a sore throat, swallow a tablespoon of mustard.
