According to calculations done by a British scientist, the widespread belief that the Moon landing was faked isn’t real.
British physicist Dr David Grimes included three factors into his calculations; the amount of people involved, the length of time since the conspiracy, and the probability of failure.
For example, with the 1969 moon landing, there were around 411,000 people involved, which lead Dr Grimes to the conclusion that if it were a fake, it would have been exposed in three years and eight months.
“It is common to dismiss conspiracy theories and their proponents out of hand but I wanted to take the opposite approach, to see how these conspiracies might be possible. To do that, I looked at the vital requirement for a viable conspiracy – secrecy.”
