Qatar might support the terrorist groups in Syria and help them rebel against the government of Bashar al-Assad.
This latest development concerning the military action happening in Syria was revealed by Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid al-Attiyah. If Qatar commits to engage its military forces in Syria, their response will be direct and aggressive.
Qatar is among those countries which provided weapons to militant groups in Syria. Other countries, which were also a part of the major weapon transfer, include Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
These countries provided necessary support in terms of money and weapons to the Army of Conquest. Jabhat al-Nusra, Ahrar ash-Sham, Jund al-Aqsa and the Muslim Brotherhood of Syria fight under this army.
The Army of Conquest or Jaish al-Fatah captured the capital of the Idlib province in March and other large military base in the area. They have also attacked Shiite villages in the Idlib province.
They also wanted to capture Latakia and Hama provinces in June. They also planned to capture a strategic area that lies between Latakia, Hama and Idlib provinces, where a supply line for the Syrian Army is located.
On the other hand, Syria is backed by Russian, Iranian military troops and Hezbollah. The offensive started on October 1.
Apparently, Cuban troops have joined Russian, Iranian, Lebanese Hezbollah and Chinese troops, assisting Assad in his fight for Syria.
The assistance of foreign troops was needed because Syria was left without men to fight for the country. The majority of men decided to run away to Europe.
