Children’s Leukemia Foundation committed fraud and spent millions on salaries

National Children’s Leukemia Foundation (NCLF) will be brought into court for fraud. This foundation spent $9.7 million funds on fundraiser’s salaries, which were intended for patient care.

Legal actions are taken against the founder, president, vice president and auditor of this foundation.

The foundation raised this money from 2009 to 2013. Out of raised $8.9 million, a total of $7.5 million went to the hired professional fundraisers.

Only 1% of remaining money was spent on leukemia patients. In other word, only $57,541 of $8.9 million was spent on a good cause.

They used lies and deception to raise such money from donors. Also, they used false audit reports. They even lied about spending the money on public education about cancer.

Founder Zvi Shor is actually a convicted felon and received an annual salary of nearly $600,000 for running the foundation. Additional $700.000 was spent on pension and deferred compensation.

Everyone in charge of this foundation will be criminally prosecuted by the New York Attorney General.
