Israeli aircraft was sent on a spying mission to Syria

It is believed that an Israeli aircraft was sent on an espionage mission to Syria. However, the Russian fighter jets stopped this attempt near the Syrian border.

The Arab language news network reported on this event. According to them, Israeli aircraft was spotted on radar. Russian jets made sure that Israeli aircraft changed its course.

Russian jets were even ready to open fire in case Israeli aircraft violated Syrian airspace.

Israeli aircraft was on an espionage mission with the purpose of gathering data on Russian ships positioned at the Tartus naval facility and Russian aircraft at the Latakia air base.

Russia and Israel made an agreement on military actions in Syria in order to avoid trading fire.
