Iraq bought Chinese combat drones – VIDEO


Iraq has obtained new weapons manufactured in China. Iraq has a Chinese CH-4B drone in its possession.

They even demonstrated the ability of this drone in a video. The CH-4B drone was sent on a mission supervised by Defense Minister Khaled-al-Obeidi.

An Islamic State target was successfully shot during the first Iraqi combat drone mission.

China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) manufactures these drones. They have a range of 5,000 km.

China has already become the world’s largest producer of UAVs. Their only competitors in the market are the US and Israel.

China has manufactured the Caihong 5. This drone is considered to be the heaviest combat drone.

Countries like Nigeria, Pakistan and other have Chinese drones in their possession. It is believed that China might have shared their technology with them because their drones resemble a lot those that were manufactured in China.

Iraq plans to cooperate with other manufacturers, suppliers of arms, including China, Russia and Iran.
