A sturgeon fish jumped into the boat in Florida and killed a 5-year-old girl, while causing serious injuries to her mother and brother.
The unfortunate course of events, that took place on Suwannee River in Florida, has fatally struck the family of little girl Jayln Rippy.
Sturgeon fish are known to jump out of the water and cause grave injuries. They can be up to 8ft long and weigh as much as 200lbs.
This is the fourth case of injuries caused by sturgeon fish, which was documented this year by The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. However, this is the first death.
