A giant sinkhole appeared on the streets of Brooklyn on early Tuesday morning. Part of the corner of the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 64th Street was swallowed by this hole. The police have blocked the street.
Based on reports, nobody was injured in this sudden incident.
This sinkhole caused damage to gas lines, water pipes and the north bound N train will be delayed because of this minor disaster.
The hole is large enough for a car to fall into it. Pavement is intact and damage is only on the road.
The reason behind this event is still unknown. It could be because of negligence in the maintenance of the road.
