A skydiver from America decided to use his 30 years of experience to attempt an extraordinary feat.
He made history with the first-ever jump without a parachute from a height of more than 7,500 meters.
42-year-old Luke Aikins, who has more than 16,000 jumps and 30 years of experience to his credit, managed to tackle yet another extraordinary aviation challenge.
Watched by a cheerful crowd on the outskirts of Simi Valley and accompanied by three parachute-equipped divers, Aikins took a parachute-free leap and landed in a net.
After two years of preparation, Aikins made his dream come true, taking a two-minute freefall and landing right in the middle of the net at a movie ranch.
The skydiver revealed that he had to fight many restrictions to be able to perform the stunt without a safety parachute.
He was greeted by his wife and 4-year-old son who were first-hand witnesses to his success.
