It is believed that a ghost of a long deceased shopkeeper is roaming the premises of her former workplace.
Creepy camera footage from inside the vintage store Hopkinson, in Station Street, Nottingham, shows a transparent figure seemingly wandering around on the premises.
The store opened in the 1880s originally as a family-run industrial merchants called H. Hopkinson Ltd.
A Mr Hopkinson ran the business with the aid of his wife. Now, a vintage clothes and antiques shop, the footage shows what appears like an outline of a person moving towards clots on a rail.
Viewers involved in the business today are convinced it resembles Mr Hopkinson’s wife.
General manager Izzy Watts said: “I was 100 per cent convinced by the footage. When I saw it on my way into work, I actually felt sick.
“I thought it was a joke. I actually text my boss to ask him but he swore it was real.
“I’m really into the supernatural and I think it really does look like a woman.”
People have previously suggested the old premises could be haunted.
She said: “I’ve never experienced anything like that before, but the landlord who owns the shop has always said he feels uncomfortable here alone.
“In the past, customers have approached us to ask us if the place is haunted, especially if they’ve been on the shop floor by themselves.”
The footage is being looked at by excited paranormal investigators to see if it could be the real deal.
Shop staff now refuse to go into the office alone.
