There is some proof connecting Sir Winston Churchill and a UFO cover-up. The famous British politician may have in fact ordered an investigation to be put in place regarding alien life forms and technology.
The politician’s personal bodyguard stated that on his death bed, Winston Churchill admitted to covering up UFO sighting over Britain. Furthermore, a number of declassified documents have shown that he created a task force comprised of researchers who were supposed to find out what is happening behind the great number of UFO sighting that have been reported.
By the end of WWII, many RAF pilots reported seeing the so called foo fighters- mysterious and unexplained air-craft. Most assumed those were top-secret Nazi weapons, which may not have been so far from the truth, as they were known to develop many strange weapons.
On July 1952 a strange, probably UFO related phenomena occurred. Two fighter jets were scrambled after military radar notices many unidentified flying objects over the white house.
Because of this occurrence, Churchill wrote his Secretary of State for Air Lord Cherwell a letter urging him to investigate the matter.
The letter contains the following:
“What does all this stuff about flying saucers amount to? What can it mean? What is the truth? Let me have a report at your convenience.”
As a result, Lord Cherwell created the Flying Saucer Working Party.
While the claimed that it was likely the sightings were balloons, birds, regular aircraft, optical illusion, deliberate hoaxes of psychological delusions, they also admitted that it was impossible to rule out “flying objects of extraterrestrial origins developed by beings unknown to mankind on lines more advanced than anything we have thought of.”
By 1999 UFO exploration seemed to have stayed buried, but, the grandson of a retired RAF officer contacted the Ministry of Defense. He inquired about the fact that Churchill banned the reporting of certain UFO encounters in England.
The man’s grandfather, who happens to be the aforementioned bodyguard, claimed that when an RAF aircraft was flying over Cambria, it was “shadowed” by a UFO.
He reported that the UFO was extremely close, so close in fact, that they photographed it. When reporting this to Churchill, he ordered that the whole incident becomes classified in order to not cause mass panic.
They claim the photograph left Churchill speechless.
