The Bermuda triangle mystery hasn’t been solved yet. A lot of theories emerged over time, even Colombo wrote about it in the past and mentioned alien aircraft.
Scientists suggested last month they had finally come up with an explanation for why various ships and aircrafts have vanished in the deadly triangle – claiming 170mph killer “air bombs” were the reason.
But such claims fail to account for the various so-called sightings of “UFOs” above the spot.
Theories of alien involvement in the area date all the way back to explorer Christopher Columbus, in September 13, 1492.
He wrote in his logs: “The pilots took the North Star; marking it, they found that the compass nortwested a full point and the sailors were fearful and melancholy and did not say why.”
In his book Into The Bermuda Triangle, Gian J. Quasar claimed a UFO was spotted by Columbus and his crew – in the form of a light that hovered above them.
And footage has circulated in recent years appearing to show such phenomenon.
Two glowing orange orbs were filmed by a passing cruise ship, above the area on the south-eastern edge of Florida.
Another bizarre clip showed what UFO hunters have described as a bright “halo” in the sky.
Some suggest these clips are proof that an “alien vortex” is the main reason for the disappearances of aircraft and ships – transporting them to another dimension.
Paranormal researcher David Childress is certain of such theory.
“The energy fields across the world are stronger in some areas as compared to the others and in these areas they form sort of a Vortex, thereby making the energy more useful in its sense,” he said.
“It’s quite possible that the Bermuda Triangle is one such inter-dimensional doorway that’s used by these aliens.”
Truthseekers claimed last month that a “crystal pyramid” at the Triangle could be a reason for the disappearances.
And another clip appears to show this strange structure – with an “alien spacecraft” flying nearby.
On top of the reported pyramid are two very large holes that “can cause surge waves across the surface”, according to YouTube user ‘didyouknow?’.
Water speeds through these holes at high speeds, causing waves to roll by forming a giant vortex.
Such claims have never been proved, but it certainly offers an intriguing explanation for one of the greatest mysteries in history.
