Stunning ‘rainbow clouds’ spotted in sky over Ireland & Scotland

Unusually colored clouds were documented over Ireland and Scotland. These clouds were beautifully colored like a rainbow.

These rainbow-colored clouds, also known as mother-of-pearl or polar stratospheric clouds, are usually seen at higher latitudes such as Scandinavia and northern Canada, but can apparently be created by severe winds and storms.

Storm Henry is said to be behind the creation of these multi coloured nacreous clouds which were spotted by people in a number of places across Britain over the past few days

The clouds are quite rare in these parts of the world and are mostly visible within two hours after sunset or before dawn. They appeared as Storm Henry continued to batter the country.
