The Allen Telescope Array (ATA) telescopes received a signal from a distant star named “KIC 8462852″. Even though a thorough research on this matter is required, it is believed that the aliens released this signal.
Representative of the SETI Institute Dr. Gerald Harp stated that this signal must be investigated thoroughly. The source of this signal could be of alien origin.
Details of this signal will be published in a scientific journal article and on the official website of the SETI Institute.
Harp revealed that the light patterns of “KIC 8462852″ are also being analyzed. The light patterns could be the result of a crash of two planets or the result of extra-terrestrial intelligence. This star seems to be encircled with a certain material which forms a ring around the star.
Additional research of this star will be conducted by The American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO).
